Railway Recruitment Boards (RRB) under Ministry of Indian Railway has invited applications under Centralized Employment Notice 04/2012 for 42 posts under Technician Grade II / Signal and Technician Grade III in following streams – Technician – Maintenance,Technician – Electrician / Electrical / ELF / Mechanical / Fitter / Diesel Mechanical / Engine Wing / Driver, etc.
Total number of Posts – 12042 posts (UR – 5814, SC – 1889, ST – 1355, OBC – 2991, Ex-Servicemen – 1114)
Age – 18 to 30 years ( As on 1st July, 2012)
Education- Matriculation / Intermediate ( For some of the positions) with ITI in the concerned trade / stream
Selection Process – It would be based on the written examination followed by medical examination.
Tentative Date for the examination - 16th December 2012.
Examinations fee - Rs. 60 for Technician Grade II / Signal and Rs. 40 for all other Technician Grade III Categories.Fee should be in the form of DD / IPO drawn in favour of Assistant Secretary or Secretary or Member Secretary or Chairman, Railway Recruitment Board’ of respective RRBs, for which the candidate would apply.
Last date for the receipt of completed applications - 16th July 2012.
Filled in applications along with required documents should be sent to respective Railway Zonal Office.
