Prisons Department, Government of Rajasthan is inviting online applications for the post of Warder (Prahari). The total number of vacancies for this post is 656.
Vacancy Break up : 127 SC, 88 ST, 136 OBC, 4 SBC, 1 Saharia, 3 Tribal Sub Plan Area SC, 27 Tribal Sub Plan Area ST, 270 UR.
Education: Candidates must be 10th Board pass.
Age: 18 to 26 years as on 1st January 2014
Pay Scale: Rs. 5200-20200 (1800 GP) after 2 years of service, initial salary of Rs. 5600 for two years probation period.
Physical Measurement:
Male candidates must be 168cm tall, chest should be 81 cm with 5 cm expansion.
Female candidates must be 152 cm tall with minimum weight of 47.5 Kg
Physical Endurance Test: Male candidates will have to run 10 KM in 1 hour while female candidates will have to run 5 Kms in 35 minutes.
Selection process:
Candidates will have to appear in a written test on the basis of which short listed candidates would be called for Physical Test.
