The written examination paper of Constable exam will consist of 120 questions (Multiple Choice) which has to be answered in 90 minutes. The exam paper will consist of 35 questions of General Intelligence & Reasoning, 50 questions on general awareness and 35 questions of General Arithmetic. There would be deduction of marks for wrong answers. 1/4 or 0.25 marks would be deducted for a wrong answer. The level of questions would be of 10th board or equivalent. Candidates will get questions in their own regional language/ Hindi/ English depending upon their region. Only those candidates who perform above the cut off marks set by the railway would be called for PET.
