MP VYAPAM has notified that Madhya Pradesh Police is inviting applications for the recruitment of 7122 constables in different trades in the pay scale of Rs. 5200-20200 (GP 1900). Details of trade wise vacancy is following:
General Duty: 6436
Driver: 552
Cook: 52
Barber: 12
Washerman (Dhobi)- 15
Cobbler- 2
Water Carrier- 16
Sweeper- 21
Mason- 2
Biguller- 10
Tent Khalasi- 4
Details of Educational Qualification:
Matriculation (8th pass for ST). Those candidates who want to apply for specific trades must possess professional knowledge of that trade. Those applying for the post of driver must have the valid driving license.
Age Limit: 18 to 28 years on 1st August 2013
Physical Requirements:
Male Candidates:
Height: 168cm
Chest: 81 cm with 5 cm expansion
Female Candidates:
Height: 158 cm
Selection Process:
Applicants will have to appear in a written test of 100 marks which will be of 100 marks
Physical Efficiency Test:
Candidates would be short listed for the PET on the basis of score in the written exams. The main event of this exam is 800 meter race which has to be completed in 2 minutes 45 seconds. For female candidates the time limit would be 4 minutes.
Trade Test:
Candidates who have applied for trades like driver, cook, washer man, cobbler and other trades will have to appear in the trade test.
Application Process:
The online Registration of the application can be done from 24th January 2013 to 23rd February 2013. Applicants can make changes to the application from 24th February to 5th March 2013.
