UGC NET has announced the dates for December 2009 Examination for the screening of candidates for lecturership and JRF or Junior Research Fellow. The minimum qualification for applying in this exam is Post graduate in a subject with minimum of 55 percent marks in the subject of specialization. Please note that only those candidates who have scored above 55 percent are only eligible and any round off marks is not considered. The maximum age for JRF is 28 years. However, there is not any such limit for candidates who are applying only for lectureship. The total list of subjects and examination centre details have been provided online. Aspirants who want to know more can download the information Brochure. The last date of sending the application is 6th of November 2009. The scheduled examination date is 27th of December 2009. All the papers of the examination are going to be conducted in one day.
