Bihar Public Service Commission has invited applications to fill up the 26 vacant posts of District Statistical Officer / Assistant Director in the pay scale of Rs.6500 – 200-10,500 (Unrevised). Out of these 26 , 4 posts are reserved for Most Backward Caste, 6 Posts are reserved for Schedule Caste, 1 post is reserved for Backward Caste and one post is reserved Backward Caste Female and only 14 posts are available for Unreserved category.
- Educational Qualification: Post Graduation in Economics / Statistic / Mathematics
- Age Limit : Minimum 21 years as on 1st August 2009
Maximum age limits are following:
- Men General Category – 37 Years
- Men and Women from OBC and MBC – 40 years
- SC and ST – 42 years
