KAMINEY is a story full of entertainment, thrill, action and twists; about a pair of twins – Charlie & Guddu who can’t stand the sight of each other. And above all there is the new mean look of Shahid Kapoor adding a macho image to his personality. This is the first time that the superstar who is single after separation from Kareena has gone shirtless. The two characters played by him in the movie are as different as chalk and cheese, Charlie lisps while Guddu stammers. One fateful rainy night, their carefully separated lives cross paths. Charlie gets mixed up in a deathly get-rich-quick scheme, while Guddu realizes that the love of his life, Sweety, has unwittingly put a price on his head. It’s a dark comic ride here onwards, as the brothers are sucked into a world of drugs, guns and money.Their lives collide head on with gangsters, rebel sodiers, rogue politicians and crooked cops. In the middle of this crazy adventure, the brothers have to run to protect themselves, their dreams and their love….And most importantly, they realize that all they have is each other. It seems that Shahid Kapoor is going to join the league of all time superstars. In the new crop of actors who came after Hritik Roshan and Abhishek Bachan he seems to be the most promising one. Although, the story of the movies seems to be oft repeated, yet it has got something special. This is the first time that Priyanka is working in a major movie with an actor who is of her age group and as successful as she is. Earlier she worked with Herman Baweja but comparison of Priyanka with him would not make sense at least in the movie world. If things work out the way people are expected to be both Shahid and Priyanka are going to add another successful movie in their long list of box office successes.
