The Government of Jharkhand has invited applications from qualified applicants to fill up the post of City Manager in the Urban Development Department. Total number of vacancies offered is 22 and the job contract is of 3 years, which may be extended upon satisfactory performance.
Educational qualification for City Manager : MBA or PG Degree / Diploma in Public Administration or PG Degree in Town Management / Planning and Development from recognized university or institution.
The application form can be downloaded from the website www.jharkhand.gov.in(Urban Development Department). The exam is scheduled to be conducted on 4th April, 2010. The last date for sending the application is 25th March, 2010. Candidates short listed after the written exams would be called for interview and the final selection will be done stictly on the basis of merit.
