Delhi Police had recently published the job notification for the recruitment of the Sub Inspectors. According to the information given in the notification, candidates will have to qualify in the Physical tests and only those candidates who are successful in the PET would be allowed to go ahead with the next level (Written Exam) of the selection process. For normal candidates they will have to qualify in following events:

1. 1600 Meters race to be completed in 6 minutes 30 seconds.
2. 3 and half feet high jump (three chances to be given)
3. Long Jump of 13 feet ( 3 attempts)

For Female Candidates:

1. 1600 Meters race to be completed in 8 minutes
2. 3 feet high jump (three chances)
3. Long jump of 10 feet. (3 attempt)

Those candidates who qualify in the Physical test would be subjected to physical measurement. Candidates belonging to departmental and ex servicemen categories have several concessions   in the Physical test and they must check the information on the website of Delhi Police.
