NTSE, Exam 2011, NCERT New Delhi organizes National Talent Search Examination to short list students for the scholarship. This scholarship is offered to students to assist in education from class 9 to Post Graduation in basic science / Social Science / Engineering / Medical Science / Management. Students are given scholarship of Rs 500 per month.
Eligibility for Scholarship
Students should have passed Class 8th from Government recognized school as a regular student.
Selection Process
Students are selected on the basis of Preliminary exam organized by State Council of Education Research and Training of respective states. Candidates who are successful in the Preliminary exam are allowed to appear in the Mains exam organized by NCERT, National Council of Education Research and Training.
Detail information can be obtained from the official website of NCERT ( www.ncert.nic.in). The last date of sending the application is 31st August,2010. The exam would be conducted on 21st November, 2010.
Candidates can also contact SCERT / Education department of their respective state to obtain the application form.

Contact the education department of your state for exact clarification. Most of the time notices exam cancellation are published in the local newspapers, so check the newspapers as well.
