NDA, National Defence Academy Examination April 2010 Notification by UPSC

UPSC has announced the notification of National Defence Academy Entrance Examination 1 2010. The exams are going to be conducted on 18^th of April 2010. The basic eligibility for the courses at NDA are following:

1. Candidate should be born between 2nd January 1992 and 1st July, 1994.
2. Educational Qualification: (i) For Army wing of National Defence Academy :- 12th Class pass of the 10+2 pattern of School Education or equivalent examination conducted by a State Education Board or a University.

(ii) For Air Force and Naval Wings of National Defence Academy and for the 10+2 (Executive Branch) Course at the Naval Academy :- 12th Class pass of the 10+2 pattern of School Education or equivalent with Physics and Mathematics conducted by a State Education Board or a University.

Those aspirants who are appearing in the 12th Class under the 10+2 pattern of School Education or equivalent examination can also apply for this examination. The tentative number of vacancies is 335 (195 for the Army, 39 for Navy, 66 for the Air Force and 35 for the Executive Branch of Naval Academy).

Date of Examination: 18^th April 2009
