Love Aaj kal can be a path breaking presentation for the Hindi Movie goers. Once again we have the main protagonist wearing the Sikh Turban to add impact to the character. It seems that these movies also keep in mind that there is a considerable Sikh population living outside India and they can be a great audience. Not only in the number but the income that can be earned is proportionately much higher than the income in India. Deepika Padukone is continuing with her pairing with the actors who are more than 15 years older than her. However, the kind of dominating personality she is endowed with it is not a tough task for her to become a matching partner with the actors who are senior and firmly placed on the top in the Hindi Movie world. Only an idiot can doubt her screen charm, however, it would have been great had she matched her charm with acting skills. Once again in this movie like her first movie she is having a role where she has moved around in outfits which are western as well as Indian. Or better we say she has shown her versatility at least, in wearing the attires and presenting herself in a comely manner.
As far as , Saif is concerned he never seemed to be going down after his success in Salaam Namaste. To be frank he is no longer the replacement actor or the side hero who used to work with Shahrukh or Akshay Kumar. After seeing all the ups and downs he has got only one direction to go and that is up. Besides, the three Khans and Akshay Kumar he is also the most bankable star in the Bollywood.
The story of the movie is well knit and well presented, specially Saif in the attire of a traditional Sikh has done justice and simply reminds that even his rough and bearded looks are quite charming. As far as the choreography is concerned, that is also excellent. It seems that Saif has got a good starting as the producer of the movie. Â
