Madhur Bhandarkar directed Jail releasing on 6^th of  November has got actors like Neil Nitin Mukesh, Manoj Vajpayee, Arya Babbar, Mugadha Godse, G.K. Desai,  Navni Parihar,  Chetan Pandit,  Raahul Singh ,  Vinay Laad ,  Gopal Singh , Ghanshyam Garg.

 Barring the first 4 rest of them little role to play in the movie. This movie has got scenes which are reminiscent of a hugely acclaimed Hollywood movie The Shawshank Redemption which had Tim Robbins and Morgan Freeman in the main lead. The similarities are more into the sceenplay than in the story, specially the scenes of solitary confinement, stripping of the main protagonist, forced homosexual rape etc. Still this movie has maintained its Indian perspective and from no where it appears like raw improt from Hollywood.

This movie has been passed by the censor board for U/A certificate after 7 cuts. Now the viewers are going to miss some of the most violent and intense scenes of the movie. As far as the story is concerned it is the story of a simple successful modern day youth who is having a girlfriend, money and great prospects. Everything goes fine in the life of the youth until one day he is trapped behind the impervious doors of jail. There he is raped brutalized and compelled ot face his worse nightmares. Anyway with the guidance of helpful inmate (Manoj Vajpayee) he survives and sustains himself in the most trying moments of his life. This movie deserves high rating from critcs.
