Jammu and Kashmir Police has invited applications for the recruitment of Constables in the state police. The recruitment is open for the residents of J & K state only. Candidates belonging to one district should not apply for job of constable in another district. The candidate must have appropriate certificate as proof of domicile in a district. Basic Details are given below:
Education Minimum Matriculation
Age: The age of the candidate should fall between 18 to 28 years on January 1st 2010. However, the reserved categories of the state of J &K and certain other categories as specified in the officail notifcation are subject to exemption in age.
Physical Standards:
Male : Height 5′-6′, Chest: 32 ” with minium expansion to 33 1/2 ”
Female: Height 5′-2′
The official notification can be downloaded from J & K Police website (WWW.JANDKPOLICE.ORG) . The last date of sending the complete application form in prescribed format is 8th May 2010.
