ITBP Recruitment – Inspector- Translator, Editor

ITBP has notified recruitment notification for the post of Editor and Translator in the rank of Inspector. Details are following:

Post: Inspector

Age: Editor – 20 to 25 years on 16^th July 2010

         Translator- Maximum 30 years on 16^th July 2010

There is relaxation in age of reserved category candidates.

Number of Vacancies:

Translator 30 (12 for UR, 4 for SC, 3 for ST and 11 for OBC)

Editor- 1 (UR)                      

Education:

Translator:  Post Graduation in Hindi or English with Hindi as compulsory subject at degree level OR  Post Graduation in any subject with Hindi and English as compulsory subject or one of them as compulsory subject  or medium of study in degree OR  Degree with Hindi and English as compulsory subject with Diploma or Certificate course in Translation

Editor: Graduation with Diploma in Printing from recognized institution.

Physical Requirements:  Height : Male (170cm)

                                        Height: Female (157 cm)

                                        Chest Male (80 cms with 5 cm expansion)

Selection Procedure:

1. Physical Measurement
2. Male ( 1.6 Kms race in 61/2 minutes, 11 ft long jump and 3 and ½ ft high jump); Female ( 800 mt. race in 4 minutes, 9 ft. long jump and 3 ft high jump)
3. Written Exam  two papers of 1.5 hrs each of 100 marks. First paper of General Knowledge English and Hindi and second paper of skill test.
4. Interview.
5. Medical Examination
