IIST, Indian Institute of Science and Technology, Â Thiruvananthapuram is going to organize an entrance exam ISAT 2010 (on April 16 , 2010 for the selection of eligible candidates for the Engineering courses offered by the institute. The brief details of the courses and eligibility parameters are given below:
Education: 70 percent plus marks in 10th as well as 12th (Physics + Chemistry + Math)
Candidates must pass their Qualifying Examination or 10+2 in one attempt. Appearing candidates expecting to pass their 10+2 with more than 70 percent marks can also apply for this course. For SC/ST candidates the required marks is 60 percent in 10th as well as 10+2.
Age: General Candidate should not be born before October 1 1985
        SC/ST/PD candidates should not be born before October 1 1980
Courses Offered: B. Tech Avionic, B. Tech Physical Sciences, B. Tech in Aerospace Engineering.
Admission aspirants can apply online between 21st December 2009 and 31st January 2010.
