Indian Navy has invited applications from Male candidates aged between 19 and half to 25 years to join the Executive Branch ( General Duty) of the Indian Navy as Short Service Commission Officer. This course is expected to commence from July 2011 at Indian Naval Academy, Ezhimala Kerala. Further details are given below:
Age – Candidates should not be born before 1986 and after 1st January 1992.
Education – One of the following
  a. B.Sc with minimum 60% marks in Physics and Math
  b. M.Sc in Physics or Mathematics with Physica and Mathematics at graduation level.
  c. B.E or B. Tech with 55% marks
  d B.Sc with Physics and Mathematic with Naval Wing NCC ‘C’ certificate.
  e. Graduation or Post Graduation in Mathematic( with Statistics)  with 75% marks
 Physical Requirements:
- Height – 157 cm
- Eyesight – 6/12 , 6/12 with specs 6/6 ( Correction) No color Blindness
Duration of this commission would be 10 year and extendable upto 14 years.
