To meet the statutory requirement of Apprentice Act 1961 of training the ITI trained diploma holders so that they can meet the needs of trained manpower in the country; Naval Dockyard, Godi, Mumbai has invited applications from eligible candidates. Currently the number of vacancies announced by the Indian Navy is 125. For complete details of the requirements of becoming part of this training programme wannabe apprentices are advised to read the Employment News or Rozgar Samachar of 21st November 2009. The training of the apprentices is likely to start in April 2010.
