Indian Navy has invited applications from unmarried Male citizens, Diploma Engineers (3years) for the direct enrollment as sailors in 2/2010 batch. The course is expected to commence from 2nd August 2010. The basic eligibility required for this job is following:
Education: Three years Diploma in Engineering in Mechanical / Electrical / Electronics / Telecommunication / Aeronautical / Ship Building / Instrumentation / Metallurgical Engineering from Government recognized Polytechnic institute.
Age: Candidates should have been born between 1st August 1988 to 31st July 1993.
Important Dates: Last Date of sending the application by ordinary post is 5th January 2010. For Candidates living in Far away places the last date is 12th January 2009.
