IIT (Indian Institute of Technology) Rajasthan, which is going to be located in Jodhpur , Rajasthan has invited applications through Advertisement No. IITJ/2010/Academic/2  from eligible professionals to fill up the positions of Associate Professor, Assisstant Professor and Assistant Professor (3 years contract) in the disciplines of Computer Science & Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mathematics & Statistics, Chemistry, Biology, Physics, Economics, English & Linguistics, Philosophy & Theology, Psychology, Sociology and Classical Studies.
Details of Eligibility is given below:
- Associate Professor: Ph. D. with first class and a minimum of six years Technical / Industry Experience of which at least three years should be at the level of Assistant Professor, Senior Scientific Officer / Senior Design Engineer.
- Assistant Professor: Ph.D. with first class or equivalent in the appropriate branch and at least threee years Industrial / research experience , excluding the experience gained while pursuing Ph.D.
- Assistant Professor: Ph.D. with first class or equivalent in the appropriate branch with a very good academic record.
