So finally the mystery behind the Punjabi Kudi of Love aaj kal is revealed by its director Imtiaz Ali. She is a Brazilian model named Giselle Monteiro .Throughout the making of Love Aaj Kal was referred to by her screen name ‘Harleen’? Even when she became visible in the trailers she remained inaccessible to the public. Initially Saif Ali khan was not comfortable with her , as he found himself too old with Giselle.

Imtiaz said that she came through dress designer Anita Shroff for the role of Jo, who is Saif’s Caucasian girlfriend in the second-half. But his wife as soon as saw her suggested him to cast Giselle as Harleen. And as he saw, he at last found his true Harleen for the film Love Aaj Kal. She is not able to speak Hindi. So she had only two lines to speak, which is dubbed.

Though she has no dialogue in the film, yet many has found her to be more beautiful and expressive than Deepika Padukone. In fact now-a-days in Bollywood there is trend to bring the new faces from other countries. They are getting good attention as well, but the main thing that distract them at last from Bollywood is the Hindi Language and Indian Culture , where they are not able to master themselves.
