The syllabus of English Language and Comprehension is quite easy and the questions asked in this paper rarely cross the level of 10+2 or senior secondary. The topics in which questions would be asked in the exam are following:

- Spellings
- Â Grammar, Sentence Structure
- Synonyms
- Antonyms
- Sentence Completion
- Phrases and Idiomatic use of Word
The topics covered in the syllabus can be a cakewalk for a genuine English medium student. However, for Hindi medium students it can be bit tougher. The best way to perform well in the English paper would be to solve as many question papers you can. Candidates can also use the English sample papers of Bank PO exam or NDA or CDS.
