Delhi Police is well known for its efficiency, competency and successful track record. Job aspirants who are between the age of 18 to 23, having 10+2 qualification, excellent health can apply for this opening. The total number of vacancies is around 6302. Reservation for the job is according to the rules and about 50 percent seats are reserved for OBC, SC and ST candidates.
Candidates are supposed to complete the sprint run of 1500 mtrs in 5 min 45 second, Chin ups 8, Shot put throw (20ft), high jump (4ft), long jump (13ft). There is not any second chance or option of appeal in the physical test. Those candidates who are successful in the physical and medical test would be called for written test of one and half hours consisting of objective type of questions from simple arithmetic, reasoning, general knowledge.
