There was lot of furor during the skill test of Contractual Elementary School Teachers working in schools run by the Bihar government. However, despite of protest by significant number of teachers who deliberately didn’t participate in the exams, the government went on with its mission of improving the environment of education in Bihar by conducting a test to check the efficiency of teachers. This Dakshata Pariksha is a right step in the positive direction. The results of this exam were announced recently and are available online. It’s a real achievement that a state like Bihar which has been notorious for its anti development stance has all of a sudden made paradigm shift in the whole administration and all the results whether academic or job related are published first on website and then in the newspapers. Bihar was never so good at internet but now everything seems to have changed under the visionary leadership of Mr. Nitish Kumar. The present chief minister of Bihar is the best leader Bihar ever got in its past or present; let’s see how many revolutionary changes this internet savvy leader will bring in Bihar. Till now the result of 60314 candidates is declared, 224 out of them were not able to pass out the exam. According to the information published in a prominent newspaper of Bihar the pass marks for the general category candidates is 45 out of 100 and for the reserve quota candidates the passing marks is 40 out of 100.
