Central Reserve Police Force has announced the job notifications for Assistant Sub Inspector (Stenographer) and Havildar (Typist). This is a all India level vacancy. The basic eligibility for the jobs are following:
Educational Qualification: For both the jobs candidates are required to have passed their 10+2 examination.
Age Limit: For General candidates the age should be between 18 to 25 years. For SC / ST candidates there is concession of 5 years in the upper age limit. For OBC candidates there is relaxation of 3 years in the upper age limit.
Physical Requirements: For general/ SC / OBC candidates 165 cm and for ST candidates 162.5 cm height. Chest size of 77 cm (without expansion) and 82 cm (with expansion) for General / OBC / SC / ST candidates. There is relaxation of 1cm in minimum chest size for ST candidates (76cm to 81 cm). Please note that for any size of chest minimum expansion of 5 cm is required.
For general / OBC / SC category female candidate minimum height of 155 cm is required. Female candidates of ST category are required to have minimum height of 152.5 cm.
Examination Process: First the candidates are supposed to send their applications in standard format to CRPF group centers from where they want to appear in their exam. Â The last date of sending those applications is 16th of December 2009. The dates of initial screening and written test are going to be between 1-2-2010 and 4-04-2010.
In the initial screening document verification would be done followed by objective type test which will consist of questions of Hindi / English, General Knowledge, Numerical Aptitude and Clerical Aptitude. ( Each part will consist of 50 questions and total 200 questions would be asked)
Candidates who are successful in the screening test would be called for short hand test and typing test. Candidates successful in the skill test would go through medical screening.
