CRPF, Central Reserve Police Force, which is one of the most well known paramilitary forces of India, is looking for eligible candidates for the post of constable. This time the vacancy of jobs is present in all over India. Female candidates are eligible to apply for these jobs. There is special recruitment drive for candidates who hail from terror or naxal affected areas of India. Candidates who want to join the post of constable through this recruitment drive must meet the minimum requirements of body height, weight and physical health and efficiency. The selection process consists of physical efficiency test in which candidates are tested in events like running, high jump, long jump, shot put. Physical test is followed by written test in which minimum qualifying marks for general category candidates is 35 percent while SC/ST/OBC candidates are required to score at least 30 percent marks. Please keep note of the fact that only those candidates who are able to qualify in the physical test are allowed to appear in the written test. For complete details of job openings in the respective states candidates must go through the Job Notification by CRPF which has been published in Hindi daily’ HINDUSTAN’ on 21st of November 2009. The last date of sending the application to CRPF is 10th of December 2009.
