Management Studies  as a subject is not only the favourite subject for those who want to join MNCs and other private sector but also becoming the favourite subject of those, who want to make a career in the field of academics. There are many management degree holders who want to qualify UGC Net. The truth is that the number of faculties in management studies is quite less and the quality of faculty in most of the institutes is not up to the mark. So its a good sign that number of applicants for the management subject in UGC Net is increasing.  However it has also been found that though the students fetch good marks in their Management institute, but it becomes very hard for them to crack this exam. There are few reasons which is becoming bottle neck for the aspirants in qualifying UGC Net:
Most of them are only concerned with their specialized subject.
- Lack of time management while giving the exam
- Lack of meticulous study of the basic topics of Management Â
- Lack of rational understanding of those question which demands student’s own/ general perception related to the topics
- No proper guidelines for preparation especially for UGC Net.
Suggestion for the aspirants is, first of all go through the syllabus provided by UGC Net. Choose those topics from the list, in which you feel you can perform better. The UGC test consists of objective and descriptive paper. As far as objective paper is concerned , my advice to all the management aspirants is that , go through the basics of economics and get by heart all the important definition, formulas, current economics etc. as it has been found that in objective, questions are asked from topics of  Demand, Price , Utility , Pricing Theories , etc. Many questions related to famous theories of HR, Marketing, and Finance are also asked. So go through them and note down the important points related to those topics and try to remember them.
In the written exam, examinees need to be smart in answering the questions. Never show your whole scholastic ability in answering just one question, due to that you can miss the time and would be unable to answer other questions. Remember, you are supposed to answer all the questions, so see the questions first and decided which question should be answered first.
