Punjab Police has announced recruitment notification for the post of Constables to fill up the vacancies in Armed Police Cadre. The number of vacancies are 1533 . The eligibility parameters  for the Candidates are following:
Education: 10+2 or equivalent. Candidates should have passed matriculation exam with Punjabi as compulsory/ optional subject. For Ex-serviceman , the minimum qualification is Matric.
Age Between 18 to 25 years as on 01.01.2010 .
Minimum height : Candidates should be 5 feet 7 inches.
Recruitment shall be done in all the districts on the same date.The selection process consists of three stages:
- Physical Measurement
- Physical Efficiency
- Interview.
