UP – Promotion Started For Primary School Teachers
The decision of lifting restrictions on the promotion of primary school teachers in Uttar Pradesh ( UP ) has been welcomed by Secondary Schools, as there is hope that this step will bring end to the shortage of teachers. UP , Seventeen Castes Inclusion in SC Category
Irrigation Minister of Uttar Pradesh has said that on 16th February, 2013 there would be meeting to include seventeen ( 17) backward castes in the category of Schedule Caste (SC). After this meeting the proposal would be approved in the current Budget Session in the Legislative Assembly.

UP B.Ed. Entrance Exam 2013- DDU Gorakhpur upbed.nic.in
The state of Uttar Pradesh will organise the combined Entrance Examination for admission in B.Ed for Session 2013-14. The examination will be organized on 24th April, 2013 ( Wednesday). Candidate can apply online from the official website www.upbed.nic.in from 10th February to 10th March, 2013.

Uttar Pradesh Basic Shiksha Parishad has announced the vacancy details in various districts of the state of Uttar Pradesh. Candidates who have got selected on the basis of UPTET examination would be short listed on the basis of merit list prepared on the basis of academic record.

UPTET Merit List 2012- Calculation Method
Uttar Pradesh Basic Education Council has used the following method to calculate the marks for the teacher recruitment process. The marks of the candidates in academic records as well as TET has got weightage.
The weightage or quality point wise details are following:
1. High School- Percentage of marks divided by 10.
2. Intermediate- Percentage of marks divided by 5
3. Graduation- Percentage of marks divided by 2.5
4. B Ed.- Percentage of marks multiplied by 3/ 10
UPTET Merit List- Trainee Teacher Rank on upbasiceduboard.gov.in
Basic Education Council Uttar Pradesh will announce the merit list on the basis of the marks of Uttar Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test on 22nd January. This merit list will be used by the council to recruit 72825 teachers in the districts of Uttar Pradesh.
