Arpita Khan from West Bengal has been eliminated from India Idol 5. She is the fifth contender to be eliminated from the show. She has been nominated for eviction in the earlier episodes; still she stayed in the show. But this time the luck completely ran out for her. Now there is stiff competition in the show. Arpita Khan is very energetic singer with fresh and unique singing style, but as the show is moving ahead, it is very difficult to predict who is going to be in the bottom three. Now there are only Eight contenders left in the show, they are Tia Kar, Bhumi Trivedi, Swaroop Khan, Sashi Suman, Naushad Ali Kawa, Shivam Pathak, Shreeramchandra, Rakesh Maini.
